阿里山高山鐵觀音烏龍茶

Alishan High Mountain Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea

This tea combines the characteristics of Taiwan’s Alishan (Ali Mountain) High Mountain Tea (高山茶) with the Tie Guan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) cultivar or processing style. It is grown at elevations above 1,000 meters in the Alishan region of Taiwan, where cool temperatures and misty conditions help produce complex flavors.  

Flavor Profile

• Floral orchid aroma
• Smooth, creamy mouthfeel
• Sweet, lingering aftertaste (回甘)
• Light roasted, fruity, and slightly honeyed notes
• Low bitterness and low astringency  

Brewing Instructions

• Tea: 5–6 g (about 1 tablespoon)
• Water temperature: 90–95°C (194–203°F)
• First steep: 20–30 seconds
• Re-steep: Add 10–15 seconds each infusion
• Good quality leaves can be brewed 5–10 times.
